Trade your investments from TAI
Running a summer Beta with Alpaca, Webull, TD Ameritrade, and Robinhood
Hi all,
We've been hard at work since wrapping up Y Combinator to bring the ability to manage your existing investment accounts with TAI.
After a couple of technical delays outside the span of our control, we're excited to announce that we have just released a new version of TAI on the AppStore.
New features, who dis?
What’s in this new version:
Trade from existing brokerage accounts in one place:
In the new version, you can now securely connect your existing investments using OAuth2 and manage your accounts from the App. This capability means you can track your accounts, and send buy and sell orders directly to your connected brokerages.
In this capacity, TAI acts as a telephone line between you and your brokers while not storing any of your information. We're launching in open beta with TD Ameritrade, Robinhood, Webull, and Alpaca and look to activate other platforms soon.
Revamped investment tracking:
We've remade our View tab into a home screen where you can keep up to date with the Market's performance, originate new watchlists and track your investment portfolio.
Own Apple and S&P 500? Custom lists display your overall holdings' exposure to ETFs and individual companies, geography, and industry. And you can compare these lists to popular market indexes such as the DOW and NASDAQ.
Pre-built professional lists:
We've scoured the investment world to publish a couple of professional portfolios built for different Market cycles. You can easily follow strategies from investment professionals such as Warren Buffet and Ray Dalio that can help you navigate turbulent markets.
These lists are composed of some of the Market's most robust and affordable ETFs, saving you time on research.
With these changes, we hope that you check out the newest version of TAI and provide us with feedback. Why do this?
Well, the central tenet of Y Combinator is “Build Something People Want.”
Having control of your data in one place opens you up to more insights and personally tailored advice—not dissimilar to how Mint allows you to manage all your bank accounts in one place. And as the global economy potentially heads into recession, we think it’s more important than ever to help provide tools that make it easier for you to navigate the Market and diversify your portfolio in these crazy times.
We hope this helps, and that you let us know what you think!
Stay frosty,
Alex, AT, Farrukh, John and Pramod, et. al.
